Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Care Aide

Eligible for a $1,200.00 Sign-On Bonus, and $2.00 per hour differential for night shifts!

LWC is looking for part-time and full-time Home Care Aides/C.N.A.’s These positions will be responsible for assisting residents at our Alabama House Assisted Living Facility and/or Agate Heights Boarding Home. This position provides overnight supervision of residential clients including assistance with transferring and toileting at our Assisted Living Facility, and supporting the overall care of our clients, to secure the building, address client needs, and respond to emergencies at our Boarding Home. Schedules/shifts include evenings and/or weekends in addition to full-time night shifts available. 30-40 hours per week available. 10 hour shifts, and is benefits eligible for anyone working 30 hours or more a week.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

At least a High School Diploma plus experience in work with special needs populations; Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide credential from WA state Department of Health in good standing, AA or BA in Human Services related discipline preferred; Good organizational skills; Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks; Ability to work cooperatively in a team approach; Ability to apply a Recovery based approach and to apply clinical knowledge; Good verbal and written communication skills; Basic computer skills; Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion; Visual and auditory skills required to communicate, to ensure and deliver client care, and to provide documentation of care; Requires frequent standing, bending at the knees and waist, kneeling and reaching; Requires frequent walking to accomplish tasks; Requires ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR, and successful completion of Boarding Home training requirements (WAC 388-112). Employment is contingent on successful fingerprint background check.
